“Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”), 2019, No.2, (Volume 7) Topic of the issue: Continuity in Science

In my opinion, the journal does not need any special introduction. It is sufficient to say that there is no other journal in the world that so widely and vividly presents the most prominent scientists of the country, the ones whose names are well known to world science. Demidov Prize in science is not even awarded to those less deserving as candidates are thoroughly selected by the most biased and objective judges-scientists themselves. That is why, there is no room for mistakes in choice!

Demidov Prize winners, whose lectures and research papers are published in every issue of the journal, are the “mirror” of science, so every reader is provided with an opportunity to look into it and see both present-day and future discoveries.

The fact of awarding Demidov Prize once again confirms the statement that despite challenges and difficulties that science encounters these days, it is still developing and its best representatives are moving forward making their way to the future.

“Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”), 2018, No.3, (Volume 6), Topic of the issue: The 30th Anniversary of “Buran” Flight

Outstanding, remarkable, and unique scientific and engineering achievements in space exploration and conquest have always been the pride of this country, its undeniable competitive advantage. By analyzing our space success and failures, by distinguishing and detecting the grains of positive experience, we will be able to give space industry a new impetus which will undoubtedly lead to new victories. I believe that “Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Novations”) journal will be of great interest due to the fact of presenting two interrelated views on space exploration – look into the past and into the future.

«Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations»), 2016, No.3 (6), Topic of the issue: «Digital Earth»

I have recently heard from a student quite a contemptuous statement made about Russian science. Like «What can we do?» All the discoveries have been made in the West, whereas our scientists are just trailing behind and are only able to repeat the existing discoveries. I tried to explain to her that our man was the first to fly to sphere, our research in the space of chemistry, biology, medicine, and other sciences is no worse than in the West and in some cases even surpasses it. In reply to it I heard, «In which source is it written about?». This question made me feel confused. In fact, where is it really written taking into account the fact that the majority of population, including younger generation, do not read specialized scientific periodicals at all. As far as popular science magazines are concerned, their role in the process of knowledge popularization is extremely insignificant, and their circulation is very small.

The desire to understand why it is like that and why we know so little about contemporary science and its new trends has undoubtedly become the conditioning factor of selecting material and rubrics for this amazing journal «Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations»). And the most important thing is that its journalists are able to find common language with both scientists acting as sources of information and the audience they work for.

«Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations»), 2019, No.4 (volume 7) , Topic of issue: «Authorities, languages, Competence»

Media projects of «Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations») journal are getting increasingly popular with the audience due to the never-ending dialogue of the journal making team with scientific community and the youth, which enables the journal to be up-to-date and react to demands of the public. This fact can only be confirmed by the release of No.1, 2017: «Crimea Media Space: Yesterday and Today».

The media project «Space Crimea» gained a huge amount of attention not only in Crimea, but throughout Russia as well. It was presented at the journalist forum in Sochi. «All Russia – 2014» At first such a narrow topic of suggested articles seemed to appeal to a specific audience. But in practice it turned out that this topic is of great interest to a considerable number of people. And it is not only due to the names of famous authors of publications who, like Vladimir S. Gubarev, need no special introduction and whose authority was undeniable even during the discussion. The reason behind was the unmistakable choice of a topical issue of general interest which was of paramount significance in connection with the revival and return of Crimea to Russia and Crimea’s geopolitical and technical facilities in space exploration which were formed in the region as far back as the Soviet period.

It is only one example of the editorial staff’s right choice and the realization of our creative potential. This is what our collaborative collective effort is aimed at and we also strive to correspond to modern requirements and challenges.

“Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”), 2020, No.2, (Volume 8), Topic of the issue: Crisis of journalistics

A new issue of “Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”) journal consists of a number of articles containing the results of scientific research in the field of journalism. Why is it so significant these days? The statement “the one who owns information rules the world” is as topical nowadays as never before. We witness the process of strategic struggle between political movements and candidates, companies and corporations, and even between states most frequently on the information field, whereas methods of force are often implemented when it comes to solving particular tactic issues. Journalism, being at the peak of information resistance, today, like never before, is of particular interest as a field of knowledge, a collection of exact laws and rules which ought to be studied, understood, and developed for further successful growth and progress. In order to achieve it, it is first of all necessary to attach importance to the main unit, the core of journalism subject matter – the journalist him or herself.

2018, No. 2 (Volume 6) Topic of the issue: Degree of Responsibility of a Scientist

When another new copy of “Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”) journal was laid out and verified I looked through all the materials once again and thought, “What unites all these articles under one and the same cover? Ideas? Topical issues? – Perhaps. But the very first thing I asked myself was about the driving force that: (a) makes people do scientific research and (b) makes them write scientific research papers. The main incentive is, of course, the excitement, thrill, the feeling of joy and satisfaction from reaching the goal, like “there it is, this is already the top!” It is similar to one of the most frequently quoted words by Alexander Pushkin, “Yes, Pushkin, well done!” – this is the pleasure of accomplishing the task and getting the result.

«Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations»), 2018, No. 1 (Volume 8), Topic of the issue: «Science Mediatization»

It is not even easy for a professional, let alone an average person, to find necessary information and get the gist of it as well as to analyze the material which consists of true facts. Information is based on life principles as easily as butter is spread over a slice of bread. In this case, information can be treated in a special way. If negative background is created about this or that phenomenon, any additional information will be perceived, no matter whether it is fake or true. The further development of society and the state will, to a large extent, hinge on how the youth will be able to alter information reality, bring about a new angle of approach and objectivity.

“Idei I Novatsii” (“Ideas and Innovations”) No.1, 2020, No.1 (Volume 8) Topic of the issue: Fundamental Science Is an Opportunity to Predict Future

It seems to us that these days, our contemporary world is unique. Our achievements are so grand that soon mankind will be able to revive the project of constructing the Tower of Babel in order to overthrow and depose God from Heaven and rule the world by themselves. Only the prophetic voice of an archaeologist rigorously speaks of the fact that on the Earth there used to be civilizations in some way even surpassing modern humanity, but due to various reasons and circumstances these civilizations disappeared and their traces can only be found buried deep underground and they can be unearthed during the process of thorough excavation.

«Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations»), 2019, No. 1 (Volume 7), Topic of the issue: «Information Security Is the Right of an Individual»

Wars, as well as information wars, arise because of the necessity to secure and protect national interests. Then when it comes to the conflict of interests, every state must think of their information security. This is what the paper «Achieving Information Security on the level of State as a Complex Social System» is about. It was written be the Czech journalist Milos Flajshans who is currently working in Russia. This article opens the section named «Position» in one of the issues of «Idei I Novatsii» («Ideas and Innovations») which is mostly devoted to information security. The author’s stance is to consider the concept of information security in terms of a large system – the state which, in its turn, delegates it to the citizens. According to the author, it is only by common collective effort that it is possible to avoid the advent of forcible alienated structures which cannot in any way be influenced by an individual him or herself. This means to be able to win in information resistance war and to retain itself as a state, nation, territory at least. Milos Flajshans claims that in this case, the key factor that stipulates information security is the presence of state ideology. This is something to think about as under the Constitution of the Russian Federation no ideology can be introduced as official state ideology.
